    The San Jose Cobras, a team of area 12-year-olds, finished second in a 28-team national invitational tournament at the Big League Dreams Park in Southern California over Memorial Day weekend. The Cobras lost 4-2 to the Redondo Beach Seals in the finals to finish second in the tourney that included teams from California, Nevada and Arizona. Members of the team included (kneeling, front row, l-r) Jacob Molina, Conner Hatfield, Jesse Figueroa, David Calcagno, Kyle Wong and manager Brent Hatfield, and (standing, back row, l-r) Nate Tenario, Tyler Ozborne, coach Brian Mattos, Eric Mattos, coach Brian Derby, Travis Molina, Travis Hatfield, Kyle Bellows, Tyler Derby and David DeCecco.
