Owners say the new location should be open by month's end

Look out Pottery Barn, Nancy B's is coming to Willow Glen. The co-owners of Casa Casa home furnishings are opening a second store in the empty Veranda store just a few doors down at 2000 Lincoln Ave.

Owners say that by the end of July, the covered windows will be covered no more. And Glenites will find a whole different selection of home accessories to furnish their home, sweet homes.

The store is named after Nancy Biagina, who co-owns Casa Casa along with her two daughters, Meg Yeargin and Katie Gofourth. The two daughters wanted to name the store after their mother as a tribute, Gofourth said. Though Gofourth said their modest mom needed a little bit of persuasion before she decided to name the store Nancy B's.

It's been almost eight years since the three women opened Casa Casa on Lincoln Avenue. But for several years, they'd been scouring the Bay Area, searching for empty stores where they could expand Casa Casa.

Gofourth said they found Veranda right in front of their eyes, between Cupertino Kitchen Design and l' Daisy Patch. They decided to open their second store on Lincoln Avenue because they realized they don't like driving and they love working in Willow Glen.

Nancy B's will feature framed art, candles, coffee table books, dressers, armoires, cozy throw pillows and lots of knickknacks. Gofourth said the store will feature dozens of catalogs, giving Glenites the opportunity to pick and choose some really unique pieces for their homes.

Casa Casa and Nancy B's will cater to home decor, but won't overlap in merchandise. Nancy B's will feature special order sofas, chairs, tables and home accessories. For information, call 408.288.7606.
