Reality shows aren't as real as Harry Potter

The lure of fishing

WGNA and city came through for James Place--fast

In May of this year the home at 1984 James Place was rented to an electronics company, causing excessive traffic and parking problems in our strictly residential neighborhood. A business of this magnitude violated the San Jose City Code and invaded the privacy of the neighbors.

As a united neighborhood we presented our complaint at the June 14 meeting of the Willow Glen Neighborhood Association. WGNA, in turn, sent a copy of our complaint to Vice Mayor Frank Fiscalini. We also issued a complaint to the City Code Compliance Department. Diane Dunn was assigned to our case. It was through the efforts of those mentioned above that our problem was solved by June 16.

On behalf of the residents of James Place, I want to thank all those involved for their help and support in returning James Place to the great neighborhood we have always enjoyed.
