The Willow Glen ResidentPhotograph by Skye Dunlap Discovering Their PotentialGraduates of the Academic Summer Day Camp sponsored by Sacred Heart Community Services share poems they wrote about their camp experience at a July 23 ceremony at the Children's Discovery Museum. The camp was geared toward low-income youth in grades 4-9 to help increase their chances of graduating from high school. According to Sacred Heart staff, the high school dropout rate among children from low-income families is the highest in the nation.
