Redwood Run
The annual Race Through the Redwoods, a 10K run from downtown Felton to Henry Cowell State Park, will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 20. The entry fee is $15 by Aug. 18 or $20 on race day. Strikkers Tryouts

Volleyball Workshop
A volleyball workshop for parents and coaches will be held Aug. 19 at Burnham Pavilion on the Stanford campus in Palo Alto. A seminar for parents will run from 10 a.m.-noon with a seminar for coaches slated for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, and preregistration if recommended. Two Los Gatos Metro boys soccer teams are looking for players for the upcoming select season.
