Around The Glen
Now Crime Stoppers isn't just for San Jose
San Jose Crime Stoppers has expanded its program to cover all of Santa Clara County so that anyone who has information about a crime can pass tips to police anonymously, no matter where they live.
The program's name has been changed to Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers to reflect the change.
The program now includes the district attorney's office, county Sheriff's Department and all other law enforcement agencies in the county.
Officials say the new partnership will give communities and law enforcement agencies a new support system to help fight crime.
For information about the program, call 408.277.4133.
