The Willow Glen ResidentAround The GlenChild advocates seek volunteersThe Child Advocacy Council is looking for volunteers to help abused and neglected children. Volunteers are being sought for the Case Aide programs and are needed primarily to help social workers and to teach child-abuse prevention to children and adults. Interested volunteers must attend a training session, obtain security clearance and pass a DMV screening. A training class for volunteers will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Belmont. There is a nonrefundable training fee of $35.
