    WG high parents appreciate principal

I would like to thank the Willow Glen Resident for the wonderful Sept. 12 article on the Willow Glen High School cheerleading squad.

I would also like to apologize and clarify my incomplete statement regarding high school Principal Patrick Day's support to the squad and its funding. The statement was unclear and not complete on my part. The full story was that the principal was not supportive of the students' parents having to fund all the expenses for uniforms and other events out of their own pockets. Hence, he wonderfully had the uniforms purchased through other funds instead of leaving the parents with the financial burden.

What a guy! All the cheerleading parents (and wallets!) want to thank Principal Day from the bottom of our hearts for his support. Go team!
