Piece educated about deadly disease

Thank you for writing and publishing the article about Wegener's Granulomatosis. It was a very good presentation, and our family appreciates the time and effort you put forth to call attention to this devastating disease.

Kids need to learn computing, Internet

I really enjoyed Geoff Patnoe's column on the Digital High School Initiative [The Resident, Oct. 8]. It is essential that students be taught how to use computers and the Internet if they are to be competitive in today's high-tech job market. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the thorough coverage of centennial

As a teacher at Willow Glen Elementary School and a member of the school's centennial celebration committee, I just wanted to take a minute and thank you and your newspaper for the very nice coverage of our recent "100 Years of Excellence" celebration. The earlier article provided information and advertising, and the follow-up let the community know how well the event went. Thank you for being there to help us.

Correction

Though Edith Coscarelly was a charter member of the Clara B. Rees Iris Society, she was not one of the founders.
