Visible corner could stand a cleaning

There is an unsightly, unsanitary mess on the sidewalk at the intersection of Minnesota and Lincoln avenues created by the birds who inhabit the telephone wires overhead. Elementary school children, their parents and siblings, local residents, visitors and the faithful crossing guards must endure walking on this excrement. Can something be done to periodically clean this area?

I am a resident of Willow Glen, and I work on Lincoln Ave. We would all be prouder of a cleaner and sanitized environment.

    Correction

A story about Willow Glen's Adopt-a-Doll store in the Oct. 10 issue of the Willow Glen Resident incorrectly reported the store's phone number. The correct number is 408.298.3655.
