    Arthritis Screening

    The Good Samaritan Hospital Arthritis and Joint Replacement Center will hold a free arthritis screening and information session on Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Hospital Auditorium, 2425 Samaritan Drive, San Jose. For more information or to RSVP, call 408.559.2180.

    Senior Friends offers Mature Driving Course

    In conjunction with the American Association of Retired Persons, the Senior Friends chapter at Good Samaritan Hospital offers the 55 Alive Mature Driving Course on Nov. 11 and 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The classes are taught by AARP-trained instructor Dick Kohl. After completing both classes, participants receive certificates entitling them to a discount on their auto insurance for a period of three years. Cost is $10 per person.
