Lincoln Glen Little League
The Lincoln Glen Little League will hold signups for the 2001 season on Nov. 11 and 18 and Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., and Nov. 29, 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the rec room at River Glen Park, on the corner of Bird and Pine.
Players ages 5-16 are eligible, and must provide a birth certificate and proof of residency (PG&E, water or utility bill) at the registration. The fee, which includes photos, trophies and a fund-raiser, is $100 (ages 5-6), $125 (ages 7-12) and $135 (ages 13-16).
The league hopes to complete all sign-ups by Dec. 31. Tryouts for players ages 7-12 will be in January and February.

Softball Tryouts
Tryouts for the Strikkers girls fast-pitch softball 16-and-under team will be held Nov. 12 at Willow Glen High School. Pitchers and catchers report at 11 a.m. and all other players report at noon. For more information, call Ernie Garcia at 510.789.2141.
Volleyball Tryouts
The Quicksilver Volleyball Club will hold tryouts for its age group teams (ranging from 12 to 18).
Tryouts will be held on Nov. 12 at San Jose City College at the following times: ages 17 and 18-- 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; ages 15 and 16-- 1-3:30 p.m.; and ages 12, 13 and 14-- 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Tryouts will be held on Nov. 19 at Oak Grove High School at the following times: ages 12, 13 and 14-- 9-11 a.m.; 15 and 16-- noon-2 p.m.; and ages 17 and 18-- 3-5 p.m.
Players should arrive early to sign forms and bring their own knee pads. The tryout fee is $20.

Girls Volleyball
The Jumpstart Girls Volleyball Club will hold tryouts for beginner to advanced players on Nov. 11 at the Camden Lifetime Activity Center, 3369 Union Ave., for competition and development teams.
Tryouts will be held at 2-4 p.m. for players in the 12-and-under division; 4-6 p.m. for 14-and-under; and 6-8 p.m. for 16-and-under. The tryout fee is $25.
