SJSU targets excellent high school students

The President's Scholars Program, established by San Jose State University President Robert L. Caret, is a new scholarship program targeting outstanding high school students. Students selected for the program will receive payment for tuition, room, board and books, the equivalent of $8,000 annually.

Students eligible for President's Scholar awards include National Merit Scholars, National Merit Finalists and high school valedictorians. Additional scholarships may be available for students with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.75.
