    Strike a blow for freedom of speech!

    Exercise your First Amendment rights in the Willow Glen Resident! The Resident welcomes letters commenting on the paper's coverage or on topics of local interest. To hasten the publishing process, we encourage the public to confine letters to 150 words in length; we also ask that the letters be typed and double-spaced. Each letter should be signed by its author, contain his or her address and include a daytime phone number (not for publication).

    The Resident reserves the right to edit all submissions for length or clarity, and to correct factual errors known to us. All letters are printed on a space-available basis, in as timely a manner as possible. Deadline for letters and commentary is 5 p.m. Wednesday, a week before publication.
