On Monday, Dec. 9, "Seeds of Harvest" will kick off with a cash and food presentation to Sacred Heart Community Service at Whole Foods Market at 9am. Whole Foods Market staff, Sacred Heart supporters and Bay Area food vendors will participate in the celebration. Whole Foods Market is located at 1690 S. Bascom in Campbell. The celebration is open to the public. Food vendors or others wanting to know more about this campaign can call Whole Foods' Bruce Byrd at 371-5000 or Barbara Zahner, Executive Director of Sacred Heart Community Service at 283-5800. --Cielle Johnson Renters' help available It's a little-known fact that renters can insure nearly all of what basic homeowners insurance covers. Farmers Insurance offers a renters insurance policy which includes protection of personal property from theft, burglary, fire, breakage, and even some natural disasters and vandalism. Personal articles such as jewelry, furs or fine art can also be covered. Discounts are offered to renters who are 50 years of age or more. And as in all else, it pays to be careful when insurance is concerned. Most policies offer discounts to clients who can demonstrate that they have fire alarms and deadbolt locks in place. Farmers also offers discounts to those who have an auto policy in addition to the renters policy. --Cielle Johnson
