Sophomore captains Emily Kane and Lara Covey helped the Rams to a third-place finish in league play. Willow Glen rolled up a 5-3-1 record in the Blossom Valley Athletic League after posting a 2-2-1 mark in nonleague play. The Rams also finished 10th in the 30-team varsity jamboree hosted by Willow Glen, and they were fifth in tournaments in Davis and Los Altos. "The team was a pleasure to coach all season," said Booth. "They worked hard every day." Allison Lake buried four goals, and Stacey Santomauro and Niki Salazar knocked in two goals apiece to lead all Willow Glen scorers in the league season. All three are freshmen. The Rams beat Homestead twice, once by forfeit and the second time 1-0 on a goal by Samtomauro. Lake knocked in two goals in a tight 2-1 win over Saratoga, and Lake and Salazar each scored in a 2-0 win over Live Oak. Willow Glen lost 3-1 to Monta Vista despite a solo goal by Lake but came back later in the year to tie the Matadors 1-1 on a goal by Santomauro. Santomauro scored twice in a 2-0 win over Leigh and Butler drilled a lone goal in a 1-0 win over Los Altos in nonleague play.
