    Studio opens doors to artists

Local steel sculptor and owner of Art Made to Match gallery Edward Seichei has opened his doors to six local glass artists who have transformed his studio into a winter wonderland.

The glass artists are part of the Bay Area Glass Institute, a nonprofit organization that focuses on educating the public about glass art. A percentage of the sale of the glasswork done by the artists goes to the organization for the classes taught about glass artistry.

Seichei said his studio is now filled with handmade glass Christmas ornaments, butterflies, Christmas trees and other glass items. He said the artists work in their glass studio, located in San Jose, and bring their completed work to Art Made to Match to display and sell. On Christmas Eve, all ornaments will be on sale for half-price, and the show will continue until mid-January.

Art Made to Match is located at 1000 Lincoln Ave, San Jose. Call 408.287.4278, or www.madetomatch.com.
