The Willow Glen Resident Around the Glen Glen offers haven for New Year's partyers To accommodate the various tastes of Willow Glen revellers, The Glen has put together three different celebration packages. "We're doing it so that there's something for everybody," said co-owner John Karamanos. "If you just want to come in and hang out, you can. If they want dinner and hang out, you can. If you just want to come in for dinner and go someplace else, you can do that too." The Glen is offering two different dinner packages--at 7 p.m. and at 9 p.m. Customers not interested in dinner can pay $20 per person for party favors, champagne, h'or d'oeuvres and a midnight buffet. The bar will be decorated in a '70s theme, and music will be played from the '70s, '80s and '90s. Big screen televisions will add to the festive mood by counting down the new year across the country. "It should be fun. And you can walk home," Karamanos said.
