The Willow Glen Resident Sports Briefs Lincoln Glen Little League The Lincoln Glen Little League will hold signups for the 1999 season on Jan. 9 and 23, 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., and Jan. 14 and 21, 6-9 p.m., at River Glen Park. The league is open to players ages 5-18 (as of July 31, 1999). Proof of residency is required for all players, and new players must provide a birth certificate. Willow Glen Little League The Willow Glen Little League is holding signups for the 1999 season on Jan. 5, 6-8 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1336 Cherry Ave. The league is open to boys and girls ages 5-18. Players must provide an original birth certificate and a utility bill for proof of residency when they register. The league is also looking for volunteer umpires, managers and coaches. For more information, call 450-8502. Resolution Run Is it your New Year's resolution to get back in shape? Well, then the Los Gatos Resolution Run on New Year's Day must be just the event for you. The annual 5-mile run begins at 9 a.m. on Jan. 1 on the track at Los Gatos High School. The course includes some hills. The $22 entry fee includes a T-shirt. The cost is $13 without a shirt. For more information, call Athletic Performance at 354-7365. Shrine Bowl Run The annual East-West Shrine Game returns to Stanford Stadium on Jan. 10, and so does the East-West Shrine Bowl Run. PAL Pony signups The San Jose PAL will hold Pony Baseball signups for players ages 7-12. Signups are held Tuesday through Friday at PAL Stadium. A birth certificate is required.
