Thanks for the story about The Thrift Box The San Jose Auxiliary workers at The Thrift Box wish to thank the Willow Glen Resident for writing such a great cover story in its June 12 issue. We couldn't imagine how staff writer Susan Wiedmann managed to put together everything in chronological order when she had so many bits and pieces to work with. She's truly a wonderful writer and a great reporter. We would also like to thank photographer Jacqueline Ramseyer for her super pictures. She captured everything perfectly! We know that the article will help bring in more donations to the shop and therefore more money for the uncompensated care for the children at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. —Arden Belshaw, Lincoln Avenue |
