DiManto fence is art The May 22 article in the Willow Glen Resident "Sycamore Glen residents upset by homeowners' plans to re-fence yard" was extremely unfair to the homeowners, Pat and Becky DiManto. My husband and I are not only neighbors to the DiManto family, but consider them true friends. There is not another couple we know who is so giving, kind and committed to their family and friends as the DiMantos. They are just as committed to their neighbors, as the evidence of the beautiful restoration of their Dry Creek home shows. They very tastefully updated their home and yard and plan to continue to update in the same tasteful manner. The fence in question is not just a fence - it is a work of art created by a renowned architect, and is designed in a careful way so as to not compromise the home, the yard, the beautiful sycamores or the neighborhood. In fact, it will only enhance the beauty of the trees and the entrance to "Sycamore Glen." We and so many other neighbors who were not given the opportunity to be interviewed would never doubt any decision Pat and Becky would make regarding their home or yard to be in the best interests of all who pass by. The neighbors who are in opposition to the DiMantos' plans need to focus elsewhere - perhaps on their own homes and yards. Randy and Natalie Lewis, Mulberry Lane |
