Mosier golf The 22nd Ross Mosier Golf Classic and banquet benefiting cystic fibrosis research at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital will be held at the Stanford University Golf Course on July 29. SJSU camps San Jose State University baseball coach Sam Piraro will head up the annual SJSU summer baseball camps for players ages 9-17 this summer. Specialty camps are slated for July 29-Aug. 2 (pitching camp for ages 12-17, 10 a.m.-noon, and hitting camp for ages 9-17, 1-3 p.m.). The cost is $125 per player (both sessions $200), and camps are limited to the first 25 campers. All campers receive a free T-shirt, and there will be camper evaluations and special awards. Call 408.924.1262 or 408.924.1287. All-Sports Camp Santa Clara University will host its Summer All-Sports Camp for children with a "sincere interest in sports and outdoor recreation." Camps will begin July 14 and Aug. 11 for resident campers and July 15 and Aug. 12 for day campers. Sports offered will include baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis and more. The first session of classes is slated for July 29-Aug. 2, 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m., at River Glen Park. The cost is $25. Alec Main and his wife, Diane, will head up the academy, which will emphasize ball skills and focus on respect, discipline and sportsmanship.
