Market St. This year's theme is "Bellarmine on Broadway." Attendees can choose between afternoon and evening events. A noon luncheon will be followed by a 1:15 p.m. fashion show. Cocktails and dinner begin at 6:30 p.m., and another fashion show will start at 7:15 p.m.
Luncheon tickets are $80 per person. Dinner tickets are $135 per person, and the evening (black tie optional) affair will include dancing to the Garage Band.
"Bellarmine on Broadway" will feature 75 models and 40 singers, dancers and hosts. The 2001 fashion show contributed in excess of $163,000 toward financial aid for more than 200 students.
The event is being supported this year by Heritage Bank, Greater Bay Bancorp and Acuity Ventures, LLC, along with many Bellarmine families, businesses and alumni.
For the 2002 show, the 75 students, faculty and parent models were selected by a panel of judges, including local TV personality Linton Johnson of NBC3 (Channel 11); Craig Stanley of James Craig Hair Color and Design in Saratoga; professional models Linda Lance and Sheila Barrett; and fashion show producer Lisa Ackerman and director Kim Selby. In addition to Bellarmine participants, approximately 33 girls from other Bay Area high schools have been selected as models and dancers.
