If preparing an entire Thanksgiving meal—or any festive meal—isn't what you would call a holiday, you're not alone.

As family and friends begin to decide where they will be enjoying their Thanksgiving feast, people are choosing more often to dine out or order take-out for part or most of the meal.

Several Willow Glen restaurants and delis are preparing for the crowds from Thanksgiving through the holiday season, and The Willow Glen Resident has put together a list of what they will be serving.

Gunther's Restaurant and Catering, located at 1601 Meridian Ave., will once again be preparing entire meals for take-out. It's a way for families to enjoy an entire meal at home without all of the preparation. Each year Gunther's provides a roasted turkey with their secret spices, warm and ready to serve. The price of this meal is $4.95 per pound of turkey and includes traditional side dishes such as stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. Several other side dishes can be ordered separately.

Apple stuffing, amaretto-cranberry sauce, mushroom gravy and many other side dishes can be ordered and picked up from La Villa Deli, located at 1319 Lincoln Ave. La Villa's famous raviolis are also a big holiday hit, and one of their pumpkin-crisp pies could be the perfect ending to a Thanksgiving dinner.

Ralph's Smokehouse, located at 885 Delmas Ave., has a full line of meat for Thanksgiving, including "the best honey-roasted hams in town." Their turkey, ham, duck and goose are all smoked and fully cooked, ready to be heated and served.

Dick's Bakery, located at 1593 Meridian Ave., offers dinner rolls and award-winning pumpkin pies each year. The line for these items has been known to wrap around the building at times.
