Members of the San Jose Opera Guild gathered Jan. 12 for brunch at the Plumed Horse in Saratoga. The event was simply a winter celebration—and why not? The opera season in both San Jose and San Francisco is in full swing

Among the festivities during the holiday season was a party at the home of Lynda and Jim Morley for Hakone Gardens Foundation board members and their guests. The event was a fundraiser for the unique historical Japanese garden in Saratoga.
