WGLL tryouts
The Willow Glen Little League will hold final tryouts on Jan. 25, 9:30 a.m.2 p.m., at Bramhall Park on Willow Street. Players ages 918 are welcome to register and try out. The league will also accept sign-ups for players ages 58 from 10 a.m.noon that day.

Youth sports grants
The Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame (BASHOF) is accepting grant applications from youth organizations and schools interested in purchasing new sports equipment.
The BASHOF Youth Fund has provided nearly $2 million to more than 350 sports organizations in the 11 counties of the Bay Area since its inception in 1981.
