WG annual library book and bake sale
The Friends of the Willow Glen Library are hosting their annual used book sale and bake sale on Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Willow Glen Library, 1157 Minnesota Ave. It is the nonprofit organization's primary fundraising activity, with all the money raised donated to the library.
Proceeds from the fundraisers support the items outside the San Jose Public Library budget, such as extra books, videos, CDs, DVDs, bookshelves and spin racks. The group also recently paid for landscaping in the front of the library and patio furniture in the back of the building. Last year the event raised more than $10,000.
