Helen Arbuckle spent years researching women who played an important role in San Jose's history. But when she died at the age of 91, her dream of writing a book based on the material was unrealized. Late last year her son, Willow Glen resident Jim Arbuckle, published her research, and the 81-page booklet is already in its second printing.
