Rams reach state
Seniors Adrian Morales and Amir Faraj-Perry of Willow Glen each qualified for the state wrestling tournament held March 78 at the University of the Pacific's Spanos Center in Stockton. Both were eliminated in two matches.
Morales, a league champion who placed third at the Central Coast Section finals, lost his first match 6-2 to a Vacaville wrestler, then lost by default a match later to face elimination.
Faraj-Perry, second in league because of an injury default and then third at CCS, lost by fall to a Nevada Union wrestler, then dropped a tight 4-0 decision to a wrestler from Ayala in his last match.
