Here comes summer—and with it, the Montalvo lineup
On April 2, Montalvo announced its 200304 season, which features a variety of contemporary, pop, country, bluegrass, jazz, world and classical concerts, literary events and family theater productions. In recent years, in addition to the Carriage House Theatre, Garden Theatre and Front Lawn (the three venues on the grounds of Montalvo in Saratoga), Montalvo has booked some of its summer shows into the historic Fox Theatre in Redwood City. Bookings at the Fox Theatre will continue, but the venue will host some of the shows scheduled for less temperate months. Before signing off for the summer, the Fox will feature the Afro-Cuban All Stars on May 2.

Here are Montalvo's offerings from spring through the end of September. On Sept. 4, Montalvo gives summer a proper farewell with its summer gala, featuring a performance by Ringo Starr and the All Starr Band, which includes Sheila E, Paul Carrick, John Waite and Colin Hay.
