A second preview party for the May 10 Medici Masked Ball took place Feb. 25 in the Los Gatos home of Orla MacLean, and talk among guests was focused on masks for the May 10 event at the Fairmont San Jose. The masked ball and its two preview parties are fundraisers for the County of Santa Clara/Province of Florence, Italy, Sister City Commission.

SJ Stage Co. celebrates

San Jose Stage Company marked its 20th anniversary March 8 with a floor show and cocktails in "Club Stage." The company's artistic director, Randall King, says, "The bash was our way of acknowledging everyone who's kept us going for the last 20 years." The evening featured cabaret-style musical highlights from the company's repertoire.
