Art lovers gathered April 11 for a reception honoring San Francisco artist Tino Rodriguez and his exhibit "The Darkening Garden/El Jardin al Anochecer," which will be on display through July 13 at the San Jose Museum of Art. The exhibit is a personal look into the exotic fantasy realm of the artist.

Also in the floral mindset, the de Saisset Museum at Santa Clara University kicked off its popular three-day "Art and Flowers" exhibit with a reception on April 3. The popular exhibit features floral pieces inspired by the museum's permanent collection and created by Bay Area florists.
