The Saratoga home of Don and Sally Lucas was the setting recently for a dinner party honoring major contributors to the Land Trust of Santa Clara County. Guests had the opportunity to enjoy the unique garden view from each window when they were invited to change tables for each new course.

Open Studios kicks off

The nearly month-long Silicon Valley Open Studio, which invites the public to visit more than 400 artists at work in their studios throughout San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, kicked off April 24 with a reception and fundraising auction at the San José Repertory Theatre. The tour wraps up May 17 and 18 in Campbell, San Jose, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Martin.
