Immanuel Lutheran Church in Saratoga kicked off a community concert series May 3 with a "Meet the Artists" reception. The social hour was followed by a concert featuring a sampling of Broadway and operatic favorites. The event was a benefit for the church's building fund.

Forbes Mill reception

On April 27 the Museums of Los Gatos welcomed "Respecting Tradition, Honoring Change"—an exhibit of American Indian artifacts recently "rediscovered" in the museum's natural history collection—with a reception, book signing and lecture at the Forbes Mill History Museum. The exhibit continues through Aug. 5 at the museum at 75 Church St., Los Gatos.
