Public invited to speak about Tamien Station

A public meeting to discuss the Tamien Station project will be held June 23 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Galarza Elementary School cafeteria at 1610 Bird Ave.

The meeting is scheduled to address any community concerns about the project's recommended building heights, housing densities and uses as suggested in the Tamien Station Specific Plan—a copy of which is available on the reference shelves at the Willow Glen Branch Library.

District 6 Councilman Ken Yeager will oversee the meeting and the public will have the opportunity to ask the councilman questions, as well as the staff from the city's planning department.
