Sliding Along: With temperatures breaking records through the Bay Area, Willow Glen resident Ronnie Cope, 10, decided to enjoy the last heat of the summer on the front lawn of his Minnesota Avenue home. His mother, Dottie, said it was a challenge to locate a slip-n-slide so late in the summer. But she persevered, and stocked up, buying six.
