Panthers win Halloween polo title

The girls at Presentation made it four in a row when they won the championship in the Lincoln Halloween Invitational water polo tournament last weekend.

The Panthers, now 24-5 for the year, had previously won the Los Altos Tournament, the Independence Tournament, and the Octoberfest Tournament in Hollister.

Presentation clinched the Lincoln title with a 10-8 win over Aptos last Saturday. Julie Oreglia of Willow Glen tossed in four goals to lead the way for the Panthers and Kristin Gause had three goals.

Presentation finished up 3-3 in the West Catholic Athletic League after losing 8-3 to Mitty last week. Oreglia scored all three goals for the Panthers.

Julia Pfahnl, Melissa Scheitrum and goalie Randahl Capurro are other Willow Glen residents on the squad.
