Thank you for the coverage of "Pumpkin Patch helps children at Stanford" that ran in the Around the Glen section of the Willow Glen resident in the Oct. 7 issue.

We held the Pumpkin Patch event on Oct. 11 and raised approximately $70,000 in one day. The event draw between 200 to 300 people and of course we were thrilled. We appreciate your assistance with the publicity.

Surgeons at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital performed more than 4,000 surgeries at the hospital last year and absorbed $7 million in nonreimbursed medical care provided to uninsured and under-insured patients.
