Clothing boutique to open on Lincoln Ave.

Ronnie Glenn Bogle has dressed celebrity Sandra Bernhard, the musical group Delight, and now, it's the women of Willow Glen.

After eight years of seasonal collections on the Internet, Bogle is opening his first boutique, called Nigel Who? Clothing, on Lincoln Avenue.

His work has also been sold at various stores in San Francisco and Los Angeles, but he mainly reached out to customers via the Internet.

The boutique will pride itself on what Bogle calls "affordable chic."

In addition to adult clothing, Bogle will offer children's clothing from $20 to $80.

The doors of the boutique will officially open Dec. 1 and will be open throughout the holiday shopping season.

Nigel Who? Clothing is located at 1077 Lincoln Ave. For more information, call 408.271.9125 or http://www.nigelwho.com.

Getting into shape at Curves, women only

Since Sept. 15, women in Willow Glen have been getting in shape at Curves, a women-only fitness and weight loss facility.

The Curves workout allows women of all ages and fitness levels to combine strength and cardio training through hydraulic resistance, set to music.

Willow Glen Curves owner Jeannine Wood recommends women do the 30-minute circuit training program at Curves about three times a week and says that a half-hour at Curves is equal to an hour and a half at a normal gym. She also says there are weight-loss programs available at Curves.

Wood says she has been doing the Curves program for a year and, without even trying, has lost 10 pounds. She says Curves is a supportive place for women to feel comfortable working out to foster a healthy lifestyle.

Curves is located at 1999 Monterey Road, Suite 150. For more information, call 408.971.3971.
