Phone-a-thon School closures The Yardstick
When the community gets behind its schools, good things happen, according to Willow Glen High School Principal Elaine Farace. Willow Glen Middle School and High School Foundation is an example of that support.  More At SJUSD's second public forum on school consolidation, more than 50 parents, teachers and students rose to speak out against the district's proposal to close Hammer, Hester and Erikson elementary schools.  More The Yardstick, a fixture on the corner of Bascom and El Solyo avenues in Campbell for more than three decades, was a familiar sight with its one-of-a-kind funky 1960s marquee sign-a big yellow lit-up arrow that pointed toward the store.  More
