Getting a Little Help

The Willow Glen boys and girls soccer teams got a little help from their friends last week. Lincoln knocked in a couple of 'own goals' that played a big part in the outcome of the two games. The Willow Glen boys, shown in action in a win earlier this season as Alex Peña works against a Prospect player, beat Lincoln 1-0 on the goal. The Rams improved to 5-4-2 with the victory. The girls, meanwhile, tied Lincoln 2-2 thanks to a goal by Megan Finkle and the 'own goal.' The Willow Glen girls are now 4-5-2 in league and 5-5-2 for the year.
