The seventh annual Run for the Law 5K walk/run and 10K run and corporate challenge will be held June 27, 8:30 a.m., at the West Valley Courthouse, 14205 Capri Drive in Los Gatos.

The run, a benefit for Legal Advocates for Children and Youth, will feature a flat and fast surface that runs through the streets of downtown Los Gatos and the trails of Lake Vasona Park.

The registration fee is $25 for the 10K or 5K, $23 per runner for groups of five or more, and all participants receive a T-shirt, refreshments and raffle entry. Top three finishers in each age group receive medals. The race-day fee is $30 and registration begins at 7 a.m.

Field hockey camp

The fifth annual Del Mar girls field hockey camp for beginning players in grades 5­9 will be held June 21­24 on the Del Mar High School campus. The cost is $50 per player for the camp that runs 9 a.m.­noon. Equipment will be provided.
