A "Camp With the Pros" summer baseball camp will be held Aug. 16­20 at the Lincoln Glen Little League field. Cost is $129 per camper and camp hours are 9 a.m.­1 p.m. each day.

Youth volleyball

The United States Youth Volleyball League is accepting registration for its fall program in San Jose. The league is open to players aged 8­14. A fee of $115 per player includes an eight-week season. Strikkers tryouts

Vintage baseball

A new vintage baseball league for players aged 18-55 is being formed. Teams will play with the rules, equipment and uniforms of 1886. Games are not planned to be competitive, but will be designed for people who want to learn about the history of baseball.
