The Best of Willow Glen 2004
Four more years! Four more years!

No, we're not talking about the upcoming U.S. presidential elections—we're talking about the Best of Willow Glen, which has thus far lasted just as long as one presidential term. Similarly, the results were tabulated after a lengthy—OK, four-week—period for voters to send in their nominations.

We're guessing, though, that choosing their favorites for the 2004 Best of Willow Glen wasn't as hard as next week's decision-making process. Most of the winners beat their competitors by a handy margin, and many of them for the second or third or fourth time, proving that they are truly community favorites.

Competition was fierce in some categories, however, and newcomers managed to beat incumbents a few times.

At any rate, we're positive that the winners will be proud of their victory and of the service they provide to residents. Democracy rules, even in our Willow Glen neighborhood.

And, of course, we'd like to thank the community—our constituents—for their picks and the time they took to vote. We couldn't have done it without you.
