Labyrinth story aids
in spreading the word

Thank you so much for the informative article about our labyrinth here at St. Francis Episcopal Church ("Off the beaten path in Willow Glen," Aug. 3).

We at Saint Francis have been trying to inform the public of our labyrinth for quite some time. We wanted to let the public know the labyrinth was available for anyone at any time during their busy day.

Your article made this possible.

The day following your story we had several people enjoying a few peaceful moments on our labyrinth. During the following week, many more people came to use it for healing, meditation or just plain fun.

Thank you for helping us provide joy and peace to the Willow Glen community. You have always helped inform the community as to the resources available to them in and around Willow Glen. This is yet another example. Great Job!

Big Dog's Grill is one of the pluses in WG

I am writing regarding the August 3 article ("Classic Cars are just too much in the Foxworthy parking lot.")

I do not own a classic car, but I regularly visit Big Dog's Grill and PW Market on Thursdays. Although the parking lot is busy, finding a spot is always quick and easy.

It's the weekly classic car gatherings along with the friendly family businesses like Big Dog's that make it a pleasure to live in Willow Glen.
