The Willow Glen Youth Football organization is looking for players for the upcoming PAL season. Dew Tour in SJ

Ryan Nyquist of Los Gatos will be in the field when the Dew Action Sports Tour's Toyota Challenge event visits the HP Pavilion in San Jose Sept. 8-11. The Dew Tour features professionals competing in skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross.

Nyquist, 26, was ranked fourth in the Dew Action Sports Tour standings after three BMX events this season.

PAL golf

The 13th annual San Jose PAL Golf Classic will be held Sept. 26 at the Villages Golf and Country Club. The tourney begins with a noon shotgun start and the entry fee is $175 per player or $700 per foursome. Lunch and dinner is included.
