Old center begins to take shape with completion of phase one townhomes
By Emilie Crofton
Willow Glen Place, a residential community on Meridian Avenue, has put out the welcome mat and is selling townhomes in the first phase of the development. Condominiums in the second phase of the project are slated to start selling in September.
The 8.76-acre project is being built by Toll Brothers, which was given the go-ahead by the city in September 2005. Once completed, the development will include 206 multi-family homes on the north side of Hacienda Gardens Shopping Center.
"The response has been great," says Judy Mullen, sales manager for the project. "This is truly a nice addition to Willow Glen."
The townhomes, labeled "The Courtyards," are priced at $771,975 to $891,975.
There are 41 townhomes designed as two- and three-story units. They are configured as three- or four-bedrooms and range from 1,720 to 2,220 square feet. Each unit has a two-car attached garage.
The 165 condominiums currently under construction have been labeled "The Terraces." They are designed as either one-, two-or three-bedroom units and range from 880 to 1,790 square feet. The project includes underground parking. The condominiums are priced from $465,975 to $795,975.
The multi-home community was designed with a clubhouse, pool and spa, fitness center and children's playground.
Willow Glen Place is located at 2825 Meridian Ave. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 408. 448.5100 or visit www.willowglen place.com.
