Public forum
to address
climate change

Santa Clara County, in conjunction with the League of Women Voters of Santa Clara County, will hold a public forum to address the effects of global climate change on Jan. 25 in Mountain View. Led by a panel of experts, the forum will explore ways to make Santa Clara County more sustainable for the future. The forum will be held in the conference room of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, 2440 W. El Camino Real, in Mountain View from 9 a.m. to noon.

Viva Musica set
to hold annual
Spring concert

Vivace Youth Chorus of San Jose is celebrating its fifth season of music with performances by Vivace's Teen Choir March 2 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Camden Community Center, 3369 Union Ave. The event will feature children's activities and entertainment, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and beverages.

All proceeds will go toward tuition and scholarships for those who need it.

Explorer Preschool
hosts open house
for fall enrollment

Explorer Preschool will host an open house and begin accepting applications for fall enrollment on Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2700 Booksin Ave., behind Lincoln Glen Church.

Parents will have the opportunity to meet Explorer's teachers and families and take a tour of the school.

Explorer is a parent-participation preschool.
