Help design
the Veterans
Memorial
Community members are invited to attend a goals and objectives workshop for the Campbell Veterans Memorial on April 2.
The workshop is hosted by members of the Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation and Bill Gould Design Art and Architecture. Attendees will be able to share their ideas on what they would like to see in a memorial honoring veterans.
Start time is 5:30 p.m. at the council chambers at Campbell City Hall, 70 N. First St.

Celebrate city's annual dinner
The Campbell Chamber of Commerce will honor the city's outstanding citizen and outstanding business at an awards event on March 29.
Carl San Miguel is the Chamber's citizen of the year, and Blendz is the business of the year. The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Villa Ragusa, 35 S. Second St.

Learn emergency
preparedness
The San Tomas West Neighborhood Association will hold a safety event on March 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Events include an emergency preparedness presentation by the American Red Cross, a disaster response seminar by San Jose Citizens Emergency Response Team and a presentation for parents on bully prevention.
